Bow bolt take down

The Bow Bolt continues to gain popularity, now being installed in over 40% of our bows.
It offers a two piece option in most of our popular one piece models.
Aside from a few ounces of mass weight the bow differs little form a one piece.
We install it in a linen Micarta riser for maximum strength and durability.
As shown the Bow Bolt provides a barely noticeable seam and very quick connection.

Installing the bolt in the riser and building the bow around it ensures perfect alignment.

Don't forget to get a spare string or two before your wears out. Our strings, like our bows, are a product made from years of improvements and experience. They are made to be very durable and function perfectly on the bow they were designed for.

Pika

Less than two years from its interdiction there are already Pika's covering the states and a few around the globe. This is a very short  longbow (54" & 56") that draws smooth and performs.
Something were hearing from many of our customers is that they never knew a short bow could be that easy to shoot and shoot so good! Hearing some say they will be taking them to 3D shoots this year because they are shooting them so well. If your looking for a compact bow you better give the pika a try.

Choosing limb veneers

Choosing a face veneer can be tough. Within the many wood types there are so many variations of color and grain pattern. We keep a lot of great veneer wood in stock and have many sets cut and ready to go. The best advice I can give is for you to tell us what your thinking as far as color and grain. We can then go immediately to our veneer selection and find the set that best fulfills your wishes.
Wood darkens considerably in the bow, building thousands of bows we have a pretty good idea of what a piece of wood will look like in the bow. We wont disappoint, call or email us and describe your "dream bow" and we will put it in your hand.

Bow Bolt Take Down System

In the last four years we have went from building less than 25% bow bolt bows
(VS one piece bows) to around 50%.  A nearly seamless joint allows us to make a take down that feels just like your one piece only weighing a few ounces more. Enjoyed by those who travel, back pack or are just looking to save space the bow bolt is a fast easy to use system.

We install the bolt in the riser first then build the bow around it to ensure perfect alignment and the tightest joint.
